Procurement Manager

As Procurement Manager, Katie oversees the bid, negotiation and award of all subcontractors and vendors Katie works with community & citizenship to increase the engagement of small, minority, and women-owned local businesses on our construction projects.

Katie began her career at Turner’s New York City office in 2006 when she graduated from Villanova University. Katie has held a variety of roles on healthcare, laboratory, commercial and school projects as well as roles in Preconstruction and SourceBlue.

Procurement Agent

Joe is currently a Procurement Agent in the Connecticut BU office and has worked as the purchasing lead on numerous projects including the UConn Hockey Arena, Wakeman Boys and Girls Club, and several Hospital modification bids. Prior to serving as a Procurement Agent at Turner, Joe served a Project Engineer for Turner for 12 years, working on numerous projects throughout CT and Westchester NY.

Estimator

Tom McCarthy, Senior Estimator, has 15 years of construction management industry experience – all which have also been with Turner Construction. Tom has a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from RIT and an MBA with a focus in management from UConn. Throughout his time with Turner, Tom has served in many different roles such as project engineering, project superintending and estimating.
